Vailview House

Want great Angel Fire views but don’t want to drive too far to hit the slopes? Vailview House combines stunning Wheeler Peak and Moreno Valley views with a location close to the ski area. The décor has a decided outdoorsman’s flavor. This three-bedroom, three-bath house will sleep eleven and has a hot tub available (for an additional fee).

Entering the home from the upper deck, you step into the light-filled open-plan living area with a pinewood cathedral ceiling and an antler chandelier in the dining area. The living area will seat seven facing the wood-burning fireplace and flat-screen TV with Dish Network and Blu-Ray DVD player. The main dining area has a table and chairs for six and counter seating for five; an additional table and chairs across the living area seats another six. The kitchen opens into the living room and is fully-equipped with all appliances, including a gas range and a dishwasher.

Down the hall on the main level are the primary and two guest bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, mounted flat-screen TV with Dish Network service, and an en suite bath with a dual-sink vanity, a jetted tub, and a step-in shower. You’ll enjoy waking up to a view across the Moreno Valley. The first guest room has a queen bed and the second has two twin-over-twin bunk beds. The hall bath has a shower/tub combo and a stacked washer/dryer.

Downstairs, the spacious family room has a seating area, including two sleeper sofas, arranged around a flat-screen TV with Dish Network service and a DVD player. There is also a bar and a foosball table. The lower deck is accessed through the family room and has a table and chairs and a hot tub. Off the hallway is the third bathroom with a step-in shower. The garage is accessible from the lower floor hallway.

Wi-Fi is provided throughout the house. Pack and plays and high chairs are available on request for an additional fee, as available.

There is a flight of exterior stairs to access the entrance to this home.

Access to this home requires 4-wheel drive in the winter months.

Use of the hot tub is available for $395 plus tax. The hot tub must be booked 48 hours in advance of arrival to ensure proper water temperature.

SLEEPING: Bedroom 1: Queen bed. Bedroom 2: Queen bed. Bedroom 3: Two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Family room: Two sleeper sofas.

KITCHEN: Dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, gas range, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, flatware, drip coffeemaker.

INDOOR LIVING: Wood-burning fireplace, two living areas, flat-screen TVs, foosball table. Central heating.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Two decks with seating, hot tub.

GENERAL: WiFi, linens/towels, hair dryers, and hangers are included as well as a kitchen pack and soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

LOCATION: Vailview House is half a mile from the ski area (a two-minute drive) and two miles (a 6-minute drive) from the country club.

POOL AND FITNESS: The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club are available for a daily/weekly/monthly fee.

WHAT TO KNOW:

This property is managed by Angel Fire Resort Vacation Rentals, 10 N. Angel Fire Road, Angel Fire, NM.

Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at our office. Please return keys/fobs to our office by 10 a.m. for check-out.

Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, trash from homes must be taken to the Recycling Center by guests. Dumpsters are available at condos but may be full at peak periods. There is a map to the Recycling Center in your guestbook. Please do not leave any trash outside as the wildlife will open the bags.

Smoking is not permitted on our properties.

Dogs are ONLY allowed in designated dog-friendly homes.

4WD or AWD vehicles are required for our homes during the winter months (November-March). It is not required to access the condos in the village, but if you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions and use caution.
