Sic Em Bear Lodge

Perched on Headin’ Home and commanding a sweeping view over Wheeler Peak and the Moreno Valley, Sic ‘Em Bear Lodge is an ideal location for a family ski vacation or mountain getaway. This three-level log house has four bedrooms and three baths and sleeps 10.

The main level features the living room with a pinewood cathedral ceiling and views of Wheeler Peak. The sofa and two armchairs will seat five in front of the wood-burning fireplace and Samsung smart TV. The adjoining dining area seats eight comfortably. The kitchen opens into the living room and is fully-equipped with all appliances, including a six-burner Wolf gas range, a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, and both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig machine. Also on the main level is a bathroom with a shower/tub combination and two bedrooms, each with a king bed and an LG smart TV. The living room gives access to the deck, which overlooks Headin’ Home and has a large hot tub for relaxing while looking at the view.

The upper level has a sitting area on the landing looking over the living room. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a walk-in closet, and a newly-remodeled en suite bath with a dual-sink vanity and walk-in shower.

The lower level gives access to one of the three parking areas and the path to Headin’ Home via a large mudroom, perfect for storing sports equipment. The spacious laundry room has a stacked full-size washer and dryer; across the hall, the full bathroom has a shower stall. Also on this level are a second living area that seats seven around the Samsung smart TV, and an additional bedroom with a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed.

Sic ‘Em Bear Lodge is one of the few true ski-in ski-out homes in Angel Fire. A short path below the house gives direct access to Headin’ Home. No need to drive and get the shuttle; just go out the door and hit the slopes!

Wi-Fi is provided throughout the house. Pack and plays and high chairs are available on request for an additional fee, as available.

There is a flight of exterior stairs to access the entrance to this home.

Access to this home requires 4-wheel drive in the winter months.

Use of the hot tub is available for $395 plus tax. The hot tub must be booked 48 hours in advance of arrival to ensure proper water temperature.

SLEEPING: Bedroom 1: King bed. Bedroom 2: King bed. Bedroom 3: King bed. Bedroom 4: King bed, 1 twin-over-twin bunk bed.

KITCHEN: Dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, gas range, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, flatware, drip coffeemaker, pod coffeemaker.

INDOOR LIVING: Wood-burning fireplace, two living areas, flat-screen TVs. Baseboard heaters.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Wraparound deck with seating, hot tub.

GENERAL: WiFi, linens/towels, hair dryers, and hangers are included as well as a kitchen pack and soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

LOCATION: Sic ‘Em Bear Lodge is 6 miles from the ski area (a 20-minute drive).

PARKING: The driveway will accommodate up to four vehicles.

POOL AND FITNESS: The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club are available for a daily/weekly/monthly fee.

WHAT TO KNOW:

This property is managed by Angel Fire Resort Vacation Rentals, 10 N. Angel Fire Road, Angel Fire, NM.

Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at our office. Please return keys/fobs to our office by 10 a.m. for check-out.

Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, trash from homes must be taken to the Recycling Center by guests. Dumpsters are available at condos but may be full at peak periods. There is a map to the Recycling Center in your guestbook. Please do not leave any trash outside as the wildlife will open the bags.

Smoking is not permitted on our properties.

Dogs are ONLY allowed in designated dog-friendly homes.

4WD or AWD vehicles are required for our homes during the winter months (November-March). It is not required to access the condos in the village, but if you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions and use caution.
