Lost in the Pines

Escape to the forest at Lost in the Pines. This three-level house features four bedrooms and four and a half baths, sleeping up to 14, on a lot surrounded by pine trees with a view to Wheeler Peak on the main level.

The kitchen has a 5-burner gas range on an island, a large Kitchen Aid refrigerator, double wall-mounted convection ovens, a microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a Keurig and a drip coffeemaker. It opens into the dining room, which seats six; there is additional seating for four at the kitchen island. The living room with its cathedral ceiling opens off both these rooms. With seating for seven, the whole family can gather near the gas fireplace to enjoy the smart TV with Roku or try some of the games provided. There is also a telescope for gazing at Wheeler Peak above the trees or enjoying a view of the stars at night.

The upper deck is accessible from the living room. A propane grill is provided for cooking out and there is seating for 10 for outside dining. A second seating area is on the upper deck, along with a hot tub for relaxing while surrounded by the forest view.

Also on the main level are two master suites. The one to the right of the living area has a gas fireplace, king bed, and Roku-equipped television under a cathedral ceiling. The en-suite bath has dual sinks, a jetted tub, a walk-in shower, and a water closet with toilet and bidet. The suite to the left has a king bed, a television with Roku in an armoire, and a cathedral ceiling. The en-suite bath has dual sinks, a jetted tub, a walk-in shower, and a water closet with a toilet. Both suites allow you to walk out onto the upper deck.

There is a guest bath with sink and toilet and a laundry room with a washer, dryer, sink, and upright freezer on the main level as well.

Downstairs is a game room with a foosball table, a bumper pool table, and a basketball game. There’s also a Roku-equipped television and a bar with sink, fridge, and microwave. The connecting living area has an L-shaped sofa that seats five and faces a television equipped with a Sony Playstation 4, as well as a sit-down Pac Man arcade game for up to two players. There is also a sleeping area with two twin bunkbeds and a table with four chairs. The lower deck is accessed through this room and has additional seating.

The lower level has two bedrooms, each with a king bed, Roku-equipped television, and walk-in closet, connected by a jack-and-jill bathroom with a shower/tub combination. There is also a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Upstairs is a loft looking over the living area. It has a seating area with two futons and a pull-out sofa as well as a desk.
Wi-Fi is provided throughout the house. Pack and plays and high chairs are available on request for an additional fee, as available.

Access to this home requires 4-wheel drive in the winter months.

Use of the hot tub is available for $395 plus tax. The hot tub must be booked 48 hours in advance of arrival to ensure proper water temperature.

GENERAL: WiFi, linens/towels, hair dryers, and hangers are included as well as a kitchen pack and soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

LOCATION: Lost in the Pines is 3.7 miles from the ski area (a 7-minute drive) and 2.5 miles (6 minutes driving) from the country club.

PARKING: The driveway will accommodate up to three vehicles.

POOL AND FITNESS: The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club are available for a daily/weekly/monthly fee.

WHAT TO KNOW:

This property is managed by Angel Fire Resort Vacation Rentals, 10 N. Angel Fire Road, Angel Fire, NM.

Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at our office. Please return keys/fobs to our office by 10 a.m. for check-out.

Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, trash from homes must be taken to the Recycling Center by guests. Dumpsters are available at condos but may be full at peak periods. There is a map to the Recycling Center in your guestbook. Please do not leave any trash outside as the wildlife will open the bags.

Smoking is not permitted on our properties.

Dogs are ONLY allowed in designated dog-friendly homes.

4WD or AWD vehicles are required for our homes during the winter months (November-March). It is not required to access the condos in the village, but if you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions and use caution.
